For six centuries the Ottoman Empire was the place where the East and West came together to trade. At the time, Persian women were forbidden from using the written language. Their way of communication was through what we now refer to as the hidden language of flowers. 

The white rose is an ancient symbol of pure love and peace, and was also used to express feelings of friendship, respect and hope. Some however say it represents a heart untouched by love.

What I love most about this milky white rose is the hints of black currant and soft pale pink tinges that appear on some of the petals. The perfect bridal rose.
